A space for connection after environments that didn’t quite fit.
-
The Yah Collective creates community-led spaces, online and in person; for elevated shared experiences rooted in connection, reflection, and belonging.
Why The Yah Collective Exists
Many people move through workplaces and industries that look collaborative on the surface, but feel isolating in practice.
This experience is especially familiar to women and often more pronounced for women of colour who are capable, socially open, and still find themselves on the edges of belonging.
The Yah Collective was created for those in-between moments: when nothing dramatic happened, but something still didn’t feel right and you’re left wanting spaces that feel more human, intentional, and affirming.
This is a space to reconnect, find community, and make sense of those moments together.
This space is for you if…
• You’re capable, friendly, and open; but still felt overlooked
• You expected community and didn’t quite find it
• You’re drawn to thoughtful, intentional spaces
• You value shared experience over performance or networking
Our approach
The Yah Collective is intentionally slow, considered, and community-led.
We believe meaningful connection happens when people don’t need to perform, explain, or justify themselves - just arrive as they are.
Small Group Activity Circles
Online & in-person gatherings focused on conversation, connection, and shared experience- think journalling, colouring, cooking classes or fireside chat panels.
